Student Research in the Classroom
I must say that I enjoyed learning about Grace Murray Hopper. She lead an fascinating life. I agree that children need a clear defined set of goals and objectives while doing research online. The internet is a vast array of information that needs to be shaved down for student searching. In earlier elementary, we use the elementary Nettreker.com in Hampton City Schools. More than just a search engine for children, they are able to find pictures, brainpop movies, quia tests and games and much more. Our district has purchased the rights, so that the children can use it without plagiarizing and siting nettrekker.com as their source. We are pretty sure that everything is accurate unlike other internet sites.
